If you want to enjoy beautiful landscapes of pine forests, mist and crops, as well as small indigenous villages, we will take the old road that is still functional. We will visit the indigenous community of San Juan Chamula
Immediately crossing a small hill, we will see San Lorenzo Zinacantán, We will visit the house of Lucero, a very friendly indigenous family, in which you can buy handicrafts or do a photographic session, as well as taste tortillas by hand, beans from the pot, cheese and pumpkin seeds golden and ground, which are always available to its visitors, as well as the Posh, cane brandy that cheers the heart and takes away the cold.
In 20 more minutes we will be in San Cristóbal to do the City Tour, visiting the old Temple of Santo Domingo, an exquisite 17th-century Baroque-Plateresque style building, the cathedral of the same name and many places that captivate you with their purely colonial atmosphere.
