Overview

The journey begins with a stop at the José María Morelos Market, where you will have time to enjoy a delicious local-style breakfast and take a short bathroom break before continuing south toward the Lagoon of Seven Colors.

Next, you will embark on a scenic boat ride through the breathtaking Bacalar Lagoon, famous for its stunning shades of blue. During the ride, you will visit some of the area’s most iconic sites, including Cenote Esmeralda, known for its deep emerald waters, and Cenote Negro, one of the lagoon’s deepest and most mysterious spots. You will also explore Cenote Cocalitos, home to ancient stromatolites, living fossils that tell the story of Earth’s earliest life. The tour continues to Isla de los Pájaros, a sanctuary for local and migratory bird species, and the Canal de los Piratas, where you can take a refreshing swim in the lagoon’s shallow, turquoise waters. The experience also includes an outside view of the historic Fuerte de San Felipe, a fort that once protected the town from pirate attacks.

After the boat ride, there will be a stop at a charming Mexican restaurant facing the lagoon, where you can savor authentic local dishes while enjoying a refreshing swim and the incredible view. Lunch is not included.

The final stop is at Cenote Azul, Mexico’s deepest cenote, surrounded by lush tropical vegetation. Here, you will have free time to relax, swim, or simply take in the beauty of this natural wonder before returning.
