Bacalar Lagoon Tour with Kayaks and Cenote Azul

Code:271

Category: Ecotourism

Cancun & Riviera Maya

Overview

Bacalar is a charming town known for its stunning lagoon, home to a variety of local fish and bird species. This natural wonder is an essential ecosystem, enriched by stromatolites that help supply nutrients to the surrounding environment.

We’ll start our adventure with a refreshing swim at the Cenote Azul, a beautiful open cenote where you can float peacefully and let all your worries fade away.

Afterwards, a tasty breakfast will be ready to fuel us for the day ahead! You’ll then have some free time at the lagoon to swim, unwind, and enjoy the crystal-clear waters at your own pace.

Next, we’ll hop into kayaks for a guided tour across the lagoon, exploring its natural beauty and learning more about the surrounding ecosystem along the way.

To finish the experience, we’ll visit a local restaurant to enjoy a traditional Mexican lunch. Before heading back, we’ll also make a quick stop at the Bacalar city sign for some memorable photos.
